When we got to the parking lot near the trail we hopped out of the car, all excited. We practically ran towards the path. As we began the long walk, Sophie looked behind us and realized that our human mommy wasn't with us, because she had taken our human siblings to the beach! Our human daddy was walking us instead.
Sophie decided to try to turn around and find her, but she was on a leash. For the rest of the walk, she kept dragging behind me and our human daddy. I didn't care about the fact that Mommy wasn't with us. I had so much fun!
Anyways, after a while of dragging Sophie along with us, we finally got to the lighthouse. The sun was starting to set at that point. It was the most beautiful thing we had ever seen! We climbed up a sand dune and I had some fun playing in the grass, while Sophie just laid down for a rest.
I found some flowers along the way. They smelled so good!
Sophie laid down in the sand for a looooooong rest - she was totally wiped out!
After playing in the long grass for a while, I settled down for a little rest. I was having the time of my life!!
We made it to the lighthouse! Isn't it beautiful?!
We had an amazing time on our first vacation with our family! We hope we can go back at some point soon!
